In the evening, it is not unusual to attend three different dinners and promotional events, starting right after the fair at 6:00 PM. As mentioned earlier, attending tasting dinners after the fair day is a crucial moment, if not even more important than the meetings and tastings at the fair, for consolidating and strengthening the guanxi (relationships), re-tasting the wines enjoyed at the fair, and exchanging opinions or comments. Often, purchase orders develop from the discussions during these dinners.
